The Team:
As part of the Sustainability Office, the ECO-Products team governs the environmental compliance and hazardous substance management of NXP’s semiconductor products.
Responsibilities:
Delivering environmental compliance information to NXP customers, such as completing customer forms, verifying compliance against legal and customer requirements, or providing product content and compliance declarations in industry forms and tools
Loading and maintaining product & material content and trade information in a legal database
Working with the NXP Supply Chain to obtain supplier material composition declarations, material test reports, CMRTs, and additional documentation used for compliance purposes
Evaluating and maintaining the compliance data in the product compliance system
Supporting internal team inquiries, escalating requests for missing information, and working with data owners to correct erroneous information
Requirements:
MSc. or BSc. in Chemistry, Chemical/Environmental/Bio- or Materials Engineering, or equivalent
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity with chemical nomenclature
Ability to complete assignments effectively
A proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes
Customer-focused and detail-oriented mindset
Ability to collaborate across various functional groups and with various cultures
Experience in a relevant field is an advantage
Experience with product data management (especially SAP) is an advantage
Familiarity with product content regulations (such as EU RoHS and EU REACH) and with semiconductor manufacturing materials is an advantage
