We are seeking an experienced Environmental and Land Project Manager / Permitting Project Manager to support large-scale, mission-critical data center developments across Santiago and other strategic locations in Latin America.
This role will lead environmental permitting, land development strategy, and site due diligence activities throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, mitigation of project risks, and timely permit acquisition to support hyperscale data center construction projects. The position requires strong coordination with cross-functional teams, regulatory agencies, consultants, and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-impact construction environment
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage environmental permitting and land development activities for large-scale data center projects
- Oversee Site Due Diligence (SDD) processes from kickoff through final deliverables
- Develop and manage permitting strategies, timelines, and execution plans aligned with construction schedules
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, legal teams, and regulatory agencies to mitigate project risks
- Review environmental constraints including wetlands, biological impacts, archaeological findings, and land restrictions
- Develop mitigation and remediation strategies for identified environmental risks
- Support site preparation, grading feasibility, erosion control, and habitat remediation activities
- Manage stormwater, wastewater, and environmental compliance permitting processes
- Ensure environmental regulations, permit conditions, and compliance requirements are properly documented and implemented
- Represent the project team in meetings and negotiations with AHJs, stakeholders, and public entities
- Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and permitting progress reports to leadership teams
- Coordinate recurring project meetings focused on permitting, environmental compliance, and risk mitigation
