Experience Level:

Bachelors/ Masters in Chemistry and Materials Science or Engineering or an equivalent course,

  • 3yrs-5 years experience in technical environment (Materials and Processes Engineering, chemistry, environmental regulations or electronic).
  • Dual competence in database engineering and chemical/materials science will be very advantageous.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of metallic and non-metallic materials, composites, and chemical products and their process of production
  • Familiarity with international standards for materials and processes (ISO, EN, MIL, etc.).
  • Experience and understanding of environmental regulations such as REACh, RoHS and POP, relevant to chemical products, electronic and mechanical components.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including power queries and power BI
  • Experience with databases and managing large volumes of parts is a plus.
  • Ability to perform end-to-end Full Material Declaration extraction and validation to ensure full transparency of constituent materials throughout the global supply chain.
  • Conduct audits of Bill of Materials (BOM) substance data against Thales Critical Raw Material (CRM) lists to assess and reduce supply chain vulnerabilities concerning raw materials
