The Role & Your Impact:

Operating in a collaborative and dynamic environment, this position as an Environment Specialist focuses on managing solid waste disposal, environmental reporting, regulatory compliance, and supporting global and regional initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive sustainable practices and ensure adherence to environmental standards at our site.

Your Key Responsibilities in this role:

• Coordinate solid waste disposal management;
• Perform analysis of waste recipients - Audit in destinations, control of documents (licenses and authorization) of the Partner companies;
• Coordinate environmental reporting;
• Conduct training on environmental issues;
• Actively participate in the Novonesis Environment Network;
• Participate in the group of the companies in the Paraná - GPMAI;
• Perform environmental assessment of changes inserted in the change control;
• Keep Environmental files and documents organized and updated and inform relevant people as needed;
• Be responsible for the reports, authorizations, and licenses of authorities regarding the environment;
• Provide support to global and regional initiatives to ensure effective implementation;
• Participate in internal and external audits;
• Support use of EHS enterprise reporting system;
• Support evaluation of Aspects and Impacts and updating of the legislation control system;
• Ensure that the necessary documentation is updated for ISO14001;
• Report environmental performance and KPIs;
• Report controlled chemicals;
• Monitor regulatory agency and inspections, ensuring compliance evidence and regulatory adherence.

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering;
• Intermediate or advanced English;
• Availability to work on-site in Araucária.

Additional Skills & Interests We Value:

• Experience with software for legal requirements.
