In this role, you'll:


Working as part of a team delivering effective heritage management, compliance, and conservation outcomes across Transport for NSW, this role will see you support the development of heritage policy, provide expert advice, and contribute to initiatives that protect and promote NSW’s diverse cultural and built heritage. You’ll assist in managing heritage risks, improve heritage practices, and help shape heritage programs and strategies across a major state wide infrastructure portfolio.

About you



You will build practical, future focused heritage solutions that enhance efficiencies, compliance, and service quality in a complex, multi stakeholder environment where heritage, infrastructure delivery, community expectations, and regulatory frameworks intersect.



Your heritage knowledge, analytical capability, and collaborative working style, formed across heritage conservation, archaeology, architecture, environmental management, or related sectors, will see you balance legislative obligations with operational needs, support improved heritage outcomes, and contribute to Transport’s role as an industry leader in heritage management.



You're recognised as a proactive and ethical heritage professional, skilled at researching, advising, analysing risks, and implementing practical conservation approaches, and experienced in applying NSW and federal environmental/heritage legislation, developing guidelines or strategies, managing heritage assets, and engaging with diverse stakeholder groups.
