Job Description

Fixed Term Full-Time 31st December 2027

You’re someone who wants to create outcomes that have a real impact on the people of NSW.

If finding complex technological solutions is your game, we've got the team for you. You're going to help us create seamless operations that result in efficiency for millions of customers.

In this role, you'll:

Design, build and support operational technology and data products that make a real difference. You’ll use modern microservices to create solutions that are reliable, scalable and built for long term success. Working closely with business analysts, data architects and stakeholders, you’ll help turn business needs into smart, secure data solutions. You’ll review requirements early to identify data sources, dependencies and quality rules, making sure nothing important is missed. You’ll also support deployments into production and stay involved after release to ensure systems run smoothly. With multiple projects on the go, you’ll balance competing priorities in a fast paced environment while continuing to deliver high quality outcomes for the business. For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack

About you

You’re comfortable working in complex environments, designing and developing data and integration solutions, and you enjoy getting on top of problems before they become issues. You bring hands‑on experience with API and microservices development and feel confident working within a CI/CD pipeline. You understand integration management frameworks and have experience building or working with common information and messaging models. You’re organised, proactive and able to stay calm when things get busy, with a natural ability to manage changing requirements and tight deadlines. You also bring relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience and are motivated by delivering practical, high‑impact solutions that support real‑world operations.
