Every day we transport millions of tonnes of critical freight around the country for our customers. We haul coal, intermodal containers, steel, and bulk commodities that keep Australia moving.

An opportunity has presented itself for an Environment Coordinator to join our team, based in either Queensland or Victoria.

What You’ll Do

Support environmental compliance and sustainability outcomes across our national operations.

Reporting to the Environment Manager, you will:

• Maintain environmental registers, permits, and compliance documentation
• Support environmental risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
• Provide environmental advice and guidance to internal stakeholders
• Contribute to sustainability targets and reporting requirements
• Liaise with regulators, consultants, and operational teams

What You’ll Bring

• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years’ experience in an environmental coordinator/advisory role
• Knowledge of Australian environmental legislation and risk management practices
• Strong communication and reporting skills with high attention to detail
• Experience in heavy industry, site inspections or audits (desirable)
• Ability to work across both office and operational/site environments
