We’re seeking an Environment and Energy Manager to lead our environmental and energy strategy across a diverse, multi‑site rail network, playing a key role in delivering our decarbonisation and sustainability ambitions.
This high‑impact role shapes and delivers initiatives that improve environmental performance, cut carbon emissions, and drive energy efficiency. Working closely with the Head of Sustainability, you’ll influence investment decisions, embed best practice, and turn our sustainability commitments into measurable results.
You’ll set clear action plans, coordinate environmental management activities, and oversee internal audits. You’ll ensure robust governance, manage incident reporting, and implement measures that reduce future risk.
You’ll also lead the collection, analysis, and reporting of environmental and energy data — providing clear insight that supports informed, board‑level decision‑making and continuous improvement.
