Lube & Service Technician

Hunter Chevrolet is seeking a dependable and motivated Lube & Service Technician to join our service department.

If you have some hands-on experience with vehicles and want to grow your automotive skills, this is a great opportunity to learn from experienced technicians while gaining valuable experience in a professional shop environment.

What You'll Do

Maintenance & Service

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine vehicle inspections.
• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance services.
• Assist with basic repairs and service work.
• Follow manufacturer recommendations and established service procedures.
• Operate automotive tools, equipment, and diagnostic technology as needed.
• Accurately record services and repairs that have been completed.

Shop & Team Support

• Work closely with experienced technicians and learn new skills.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain professional work standards.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Complete assigned work efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate with team members and ask questions when additional guidance is needed.
• Continue developing your automotive knowledge and technical abilities.

What We're Looking For

• Previous automotive or mechanical experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance, automotive systems, and tools.
• Interest in developing a long-term career in automotive service.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to work well with a team and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
