What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting process engineering and project execution work for manufacturing and packaging projects.You'llwork closely with engineers, project teams, vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders to develop process documentation, support equipment procurement, andassistwith start-up and installation activities.This position plays an important role in helping clients improve manufacturing performance while giving you hands-on exposure to process design, project management, equipment integration, and client delivery.
Support project execution activities, including line layout engineering, mechanical design, equipment procurement, schedule management, project finances, site management, and start-up support
Design process flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams
Create specifications for process equipment, installation requirements, and related project deliverables
Complete basic piping system design, including pump sizing, mass and heat balances, functional specifications, and installation specifications
Support instrumentation and controls coordination for process and packaging systems
Convert technical information into project documentation for client and project team use
Support integration of packaging automation lines, material handling methods, and manufacturing equipment
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, OEMs, and cross-functional project teams to support project execution
Assistproject teams with installation, commissioning, start-up, and site-based project activities
Strengthen client and team relationships through responsive technical support and consistent project execution
What You'll Bring
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related technical degree
Academic, co-op, internship, project, or entry-level experience related to process engineering, manufacturing, packaging, automation, or project execution
Proficiencyusing Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD
Ability to organize and execute multiple project responsibilities simultaneously
Ability to travel for project requirements, including installation and start-up activities, client and company meetings, trainings, seminars, forums, and conventions
Preferred Qualifications
Co-op or project experience with packaging lines, automation, or manufacturing applications
Co-op or project experience in food, dairy, high-speedbeverageor brewery, pharmaceutical, or consumer products environments
Basic understanding of project management fundamentals and analytical problem solving
Compensation
The approximate pay range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as geographic location of the position.
