Join Ericsson's Microwave Design team in Gothenburg and become part of the development of next-generation wireless transport solutions.As a Microwave Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design of advanced RF and microwave circuits used in Ericsson's MINI-LINK product portfolio. You will work with technologies ranging from microwave integrated circuits and power amplifiers to complete analog front-end solutions for future radio platforms.Our team combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative and supportive atmosphere where learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing are part of everyday work.

What you will do

• Design RF and microwave circuits such as power amplifiers, LNAs, filters, switches and matching networks.
• Simulate, analyse and optimize microwave designs using industry-standard tools.
• Perform laboratory measurements and verification of prototypes and products.
• Participate in the full development cycle from concept and requirements to verification and release.
• Collaborate with component suppliers, research organizations and internal development teams.
• Support technical investigations and feasibility studies for future technology development.
• Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement within the microwave domain.

The skills you bring

• MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or an equivalent discipline, preferably with a Master's specialization in Wireless Photonics and Space Engineering.
• Knowledge of RF and microwave engineering.
• Experience with simulation tools such as ADS, AWR, HFSS, CST or equivalent.
• Understanding of RF measurements and laboratory equipment.
• Interest in analog, microwave or high-frequency circuit design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in an agile team environment.
• Good communication skills in English.
