Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Entry-Level Machinist role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality precision components. Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in the setup and operation of CNC Mills, Lathes, and other machining equipment.
· Load and unload materials and parts, ensuring proper handling and placement.
· Monitor machine operations and report any issues or irregularities to supervisors or lead machinists.
· Follow blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers to support production requirements.
· Perform basic measurements using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part quality.
· Deburr, clean, and finish machined parts as required.
· Maintain consistent workflow while supporting operators and machinists on multiple machines.
· Accurately document production activity and report scrap or defects.
· Perform routine cleaning of machines and work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment.
· Follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
· Participate in training and development opportunities to build machining skills.
· Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Technical training or coursework in machining or manufacturing preferred.
· 0–1 year of machining or manufacturing experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply).
· Basic math skills, including working with measurements and decimals.
· Ability to read basic blueprints and follow instructions.
· Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly (up to 50+ lbs occasionally) and stand for extended periods.
· Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
· Must be eligible to work in an ITAR-regulated environment.
