About the role:
Entry Level Labour perform a variety of duties including physical labour, janitorial duties, operating equipment, and steam bay duties. No equipment operating experience is necessary. The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary.
Schedule: 4x4 shift rotation consisting of days and nights
In this role, you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Perform a variety of duties including physical labour, janitorial duties, operating equipment, and steam bay duties
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Perform heavy lifting in a safe manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Previous heavy equipment operations or industrial experience is considered an asset
Salary Range: $64,000 - $82,000 CAD / Year
Base earnings reflected in salary range includes the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location. It is calculated using a reasonably expected number of hours worked per year.
Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and references.
