Entry Level Banking Operations Associate

Our client, a leading Canadian bank, is looking for a Wealth Operations Associate to join their back-office processing team. This is a great fit for someone who thrives on accuracy, stays organized under pressure, and can consistently hit daily targets within tight service-level windows.

This is a behind-the-scenes, non-customer-facing position The role centers on transaction processing, account documentation review, ticket management, and day-to-day support for internal business partners. You'll work closely with internal teams to make sure every request gets handled correctly, quickly, and in line with company procedures.

What You'll Be Doing

• Reviewing client account details, paperwork, and transaction records to confirm everything is accurate and complete
• Processing service requests, transactions, account changes, and other operational tasks within set turnaround times
• Managing a daily queue of assigned tasks through a ticketing system
• Auditing files, entering data, updating internal systems, and keeping tabs on incoming requests
• Reviewing estate, legal, and account-related paperwork as needed
• Keeping all work aligned with internal policies, procedures, and service-level agreements
• Spotting issues, digging into discrepancies, and escalating where appropriate
• Staying in touch with internal teams via email, phone, and chat platforms
• Supporting internal business groups with accurate, timely responses to operational questions
• Keeping a sharp eye for detail while managing a heavy daily processing load
• Helping with reporting, tracking, and organizing operational data as needed
• Contributing ideas for process improvements and helping keep workflows running smoothly

What We're Looking For

• Some experience in an operations-focused role, whether that's an internship, part-time job, or full-time position
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort using everyday office software and tools like Microsoft Office and Teams

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toronto, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
