Competitive candidates will have one or more of the following criteria:
• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or Business Education. Formal training in entrepreneurship.
OR
• Experience working in a start up or social enterprise, or running a small business
OR
• Experience developing business plans
OR
• Strategic and analytical thinking skills
OR
• Experience facilitating adult training

Previous experience co-teaching topics related to economics or business in formal university settings.
Volunteers live primarily in independent apartments but may live with a host family if communicated and discussed ahead of time. Housing is located near the work site, but Volunteers should be aware that rush-hour commutes can take up to an hour.

Review the current business education curriculum and identify areas for improvement or enrichment.
Apply, test, and refine curriculum adjustments.
Teach English business education classes to roughly 100 students.
Develop and facilitate activities or events with an emphasis on entrepreneurial education and financial literacy.
You may also work on additional projects that meet the community’s interests and priorities, such as an English club for professors and a book club for students.
After a two-week orientation, you will stay in the capital city where you will primarily collaborate with a Department of Modern Languages professor at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. You will work with the partner to assess their needs and develop a work plan in line with their established goals.
Peace Corps Moldova will equip you with basic Romanian language skills during the orientation and you may work with a local tutor who can continue building language skills to help you connect with the community.

Only heterosexual couples can be accepted for this program.
Each person must apply separately and must qualify for a position in either the same or a different sector than their partner.
Couples will live together during training but may separate occasionally for field-based activities.
Cohabitating couples are highly encouraged to present themselves as married throughout service due to cultural expectations.
