Key Responsibilities

Define and drive enterprisetechnologyarchitecture strategy

  • Establish target-statetechnologyplatformarchitecturesand standardsaligned to business priorities

  • Translatebusiness requirements into scalabletechnologyarchitecture solutions

Design and govern enterprisetechnologyecosystems

  • Architecttechnologysolutionsandintegration strategies across systems

  • Ensure consistently stable, secure, andresilientinfrastructure architectures

Leadtechnologyarchitecture governance and quality initiatives

  • Define standards fortechnologyquality

  • Establishtechnologygovernance policies, compliance controls, and security practices

Drive platform and technology decisions

  • Evaluateand recommendemerging technologies,technologyplatforms,andtools

  • Define standards fortechnologyintegration andtechnologyservices

Collaborate across business, data, and technology teams

  • Partner with stakeholders to aligntechnologyarchitecture with enterpriseobjectives

  • Act as a bridge betweenbusinessstrategy and technical execution

Provide leadership and oversight

  • Lead architecture reviews and ensure adherence to standards

  • Support delivery teams through theproductlifecycle

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree orequivalent work experience

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experienceintechnologyarchitecture, delivering large-scale enterprisetechnologysolutions within agile environments.

  • Strongexpertisein moderntechnologyarchitectures

  • Strong experience in solution architecture for cloud-basedtechnologyplatforms including AWS or Azure.

  • Hadpreviousroles as a senior software engineerat some point during their career.

  • Deepunderstanding oftechnologygovernance, privacy, and security standards

  • Proven ability to design and implement scalabletechnologyplatforms, frameworks, and architecture patterns.

  • Hands-on experiencedesigning large scale resilientapplicationand infrastructurearchitectures.

  • Experience intechnologyintegrationacross a broad range of platforms

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders effectively.

  • Familiarity with industry architectural frameworks such asITIL,TOGAF, COBIT,Zachman, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the banking, wealth management, or financial services domain.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science orequivalent work experience

  • Relevant certifications intechnologymanagement, cloud architecture, or engineering.

Location Expectations

  • This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $159,970.00 - $188,200.00
