Job Description

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Houston TX (required);
• Experience with IT project management with increasing delivery ownership (8+ years);
• Experience with enterprise system implementations or transformations;
• Experience with billing, pricing, sales, or financial systems in a complex business environment;
• Experience with project financials, WBS structures, and IT governance;

• Experience with energy retail, utilities, or regulated industries;
• Experience with C&I Gas and Power retail business models;
• Experience managing projects with multiple systems, vendors, and integrations;
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery approaches.

• Own full lifecycle project management for C&I power and gas IT initiatives, from intake and planning through execution, go-live, and stabilization;
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, dependency maps, and cutover strategies;
• Serve as primary IT Project Manager for a major C&I gas and power billing consolidation initiative, merging six disparate billing systems into a single platform;
• Lead testing strategy and execution (SIT, UAT, parallel billing, mock cutovers) and own go-live readiness and post-implementation stabilization;
• Manage delivery of IT projects supporting pricing engines, pricing governance workflows, and deal structuring tools;
• Lead IT delivery for sales-facing systems including CRM, quoting, proposal generation, and contract workflows;
• Own project-level financial tracking, capitalization decisions, forecasting, and governance alignment.
