Position Overview

This is a full-time position for a Messaging Specialist to join the Autodesk Collaboration Team in Bengaluru. The role is part of our 24x7 support operations and requires strong hands-on expertise in Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams, with experience in at least one additional platform, such as SharePoint Online or SendGrid, preferred.

The role includes operational support, complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, service improvement, and participation in migrations, upgrades, and automation initiatives. The successful candidate will use PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Active Directory, and Entra ID to manage and optimize enterprise-scale messaging and collaboration services.

As a contributor, the candidate is expected to work with minimal supervision, apply technical judgment and best practices to complex problems, and contribute to projects and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide L3 administration and support for Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams
  • Troubleshoot complex messaging and collaboration issues, including mail flow, mailbox access, transport rules, connectors, Teams policies, meetings, calling, and service integrations
  • Monitor service health, manage incidents and problems, perform root cause analysis, and ensure service availability and adherence to SLAs in a 24x7 operational environment
  • Contribute to migrations, upgrades, automation, and service improvement initiatives using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and enable Service Desk teams through documentation and knowledge sharing to improve First Contact Resolution

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience supporting Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for administration, automation, troubleshooting, and reporting, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Graph
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID, authentication, email routing protocols, and Microsoft 365 security fundamentals
  • Experience with monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, problem management, and change management in enterprise environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills
  • Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift model, including on-call or after-hours support when required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SendGrid and/or SharePoint Online
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 migrations, automation, and Teams Voice
  • Ability to build effective relationships with senior practitioners, peers, and cross-functional teams
