Enterprise Services | Nuku Toiere plays a pivotal role in shaping how the organisation operates and succeeds. As an enterprise-wide function, the branch delivers high-impact services across legal, finance, people and culture, communications, technology and strategy, governance and risk, supporting informed decision-making and strong organisational performance.

The role | Te tūnga 

We’re looking for an Enterprise Solutions Manager to lead the design, investment, and delivery of enterprise digital services that create lasting value for DIA and the people of Aotearoa.

This is a strategic role focused on shifting from fragmented solutions to deliberate, scalable enterprise services that improve pace, reduce duplication, and enable smarter, more connected investment decisions.

Working alongside the Manager Strategy & Engagement, you will play a key role in shaping, establishing, and launching a new capability. You’ll be expected to quickly build credibility, bring a strong initiation and delivery mindset, and demonstrate a clear focus on generating meaningful business value for the Department. You will take ownership of enterprise services end-to-end, from concept through to live operation and continuous evolution, while identifying common business needs and translating them into scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions. You will also lead the development of business cases, service models, and investment proposals, providing clear, practical advice to support governance and prioritisation.

The appointing range for this role is  $136,502 - $169,869, with appointments typically made at the midpoint.

  • Experience owning and evolving enterprise digital products or services end-to-end
  • Strong commercial acumen, including business case development and investment planning
  • Ability to operate as a trusted advisor and influence decision-making in complex environments
  • Broad understanding of technology and the digital government landscape
  • Confidence navigating ambiguity and balancing strategic thinking with delivery focus
  • A track record of delivering solutions that create measurable business value
