Department: DEPADM

The Opportunity

The Enterprise Software Integration and SQL Database role supports Integra’s enterprise integration, data connectivity, application interoperability, and SQL database needs across business-critical systems, legacy platforms, modern applications, reporting environments, vendor solutions, and cloud-based tools.

This position is a hands-on technical contributor responsible for helping design, build, document, test, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve integrations, database objects, data flows, scheduled jobs, interfaces, and system-to-system connections that support reliable business processes and informed decision-making.

The successful candidate will bring strong SQL skills, practical integration experience, sound documentation habits, and the ability to translate business needs into dependable technical solutions. This role will help establish the technical foundation for a growing digital solutions and enterprise integration function by supporting secure, scalable, well-governed, and supportable data movement across Integra’s technology landscape.

What you will do?

  • Support the delivery of Integra’s digital solutions and enterprise integration roadmap by developing, testing, documenting, monitoring, and maintaining integrations, SQL database solutions, data flows, and application connections.
  • Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, scripts, scheduled jobs, data extracts, and database objects used for integrations, reporting, reconciliation, automation, and operational support.
  • Assist with integration design, data mapping, source-to-target documentation, transformation logic, file-based transfers, API-enabled connections, data validation, error handling, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Partner with IT team members, business users, vendors, and implementation partners to gather requirements, clarify data needs, document process flows, identify system dependencies, and support integration-related project activities.
  • Monitor recurring interfaces, data loads, scheduled jobs, system alerts, integration logs, database performance indicators, and data quality issues to support timely issue resolution and minimize business disruption.
  • Troubleshoot integration and database issues by analyzing data discrepancies, job failures, query results, logs, permissions, dependencies, upstream inputs, downstream impacts, and root cause conditions.
  • Maintain integration diagrams, data dictionaries, data flow maps, technical documentation, testing evidence, support procedures, change notes, operational playbooks, and ownership documentation for supported systems and data processes.
  • Apply approved standards for integration architecture, APIs, middleware, data exchange, workflow automation, security, access control, naming conventions, change management, monitoring, documentation, and supportability.
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, migrations, acquisitions, consolidations, automation initiatives, reporting improvements, and modernization efforts by assisting with data conversion, interface testing, validation, cutover activities, and post-go-live support.
  • Help reduce duplicate data entry, manual workarounds, inconsistent data flows, unsupported point-to-point processes, recurring support issues, and technical debt through practical integration and database improvements.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications, analytics, finance, operations, HR, commercial teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure integrations and databases are secure, compliant, governed, auditable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards.
  • Support evaluation and implementation activities for integration tools, automation solutions, Microsoft enterprise technologies, cloud services, reporting platforms, and vendor-supported technologies.
  • Provide clear status updates, testing results, issue summaries, risks, dependency notes, support metrics, and improvement recommendations to IT leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Promote disciplined technology delivery through strong documentation, repeatable support practices, accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and a service-oriented approach to business partnership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in software integration, SQL database development, application support, data integration, business systems, reporting support, enterprise applications, or related IT roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience writing, troubleshooting, validating, and optimizing SQL queries and working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or similar database platforms.
  • Experience supporting integrations between enterprise applications, databases, SaaS platforms, reporting environments, vendor systems, cloud-based tools, or legacy business applications.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, middleware, ETL/ELT concepts, file-based integrations, data mapping, data validation, scheduled jobs, error handling, workflow automation, and system-to-system data movement.
  • Ability to analyze data issues, compare source and target data, identify root causes, test technical changes, document outcomes, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, process flows, data dictionaries, integration diagrams, test plans, support procedures, change notes, and operational support documentation.
  • Familiarity with enterprise business systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, financial systems, operational platforms, data warehouses, reporting tools, business intelligence environments, or cloud-based business applications.
  • Understanding of data quality, data governance, cybersecurity, access controls, compliance, audit expectations, change control, and technology lifecycle management in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, organization, documentation, customer service, and continuous improvement skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growing organization with evolving business needs, legacy system complexity, competing priorities, and a mix of strategic projects and operational support responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft enterprise technologies, Azure, Power Platform, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, API management tools, iPaaS solutions, middleware, scripting languages, cloud services, MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, or similar tools preferred.
