YOUR ROLE

As a key player within ST’s Corporate Audit & Risk Organisation, you will be responsible for supporting the activities of Corporate Risk in defining and deploying the company ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) roadmap and framework within the wider context of ST’s strategic direction. This involves working closely with Executive Management, Corporate and Business functions as well as a global network of ERM professionals (“ERM Champions”) and other ST stakeholders to contribute to ST’s overall success in a global VUCA business context.

This position requires the ability to understand the semiconductor industry, relevant regulatory evolutions, ST’s business model and strategy as well as strong networking and communication skills.

The primary location for this role is Geneva, Switzerland, and the position is open to Swiss residents and/or holders of a valid Swiss work permit.

The role is open to different seniority levels based on experience.

Tasks include supporting the activities of Corporate Risk in the following dimensions:

Corporate Risk Roadmap

  • Identifying new activities or improvement opportunities to further serve our internal stakeholders and increase the strategic relevance of ERM

Company-wide ERM process

  • Supporting the Corporate Risk Owners in developing suitable response plans to priority risks
  • Performing specific risk assessment on transformation and other strategic company's programmes
  • Writing position papers on emerging risk areas

Risk management dimension of the company sustainability agenda, including

  • Maintaining and enhancing the ESG Double Materiality Assessment as per the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), preparing documentation for external auditing
  • Maintaining and enhancing the ST France “Duty of Care” risk assessment, supporting the publication of ST France Vigilance Plan
  • Enhancing ESG risk management at site level
  • Gaining deep understanding of sustainability matters

Organisation-level ERM process

  • Liaising closely with the network of ERM champions in order to drive Organisation-level risk management (risk maps in approximately 20 organisations)
  • Organising monthly ERM Community calls and the annual conference of ERM champions

Risk disclosures

  • Drafting disclosures (e.g. Form 20-F for the NYSE, European Integrated Report, CDP…)

Risk policies, methodologies and systems

  • Proposing a roadmap to further digitalise ERM processes
  • Maintaining and upgrading the risk information system, and support users

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience

  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience
  • In a Risk Management or related role in a leading organisation
  • In a diverse, international setting
  • Experience in industry a plus
  • Experience in different roles a plus

Education and certification

  • Business school / Master University degree (i.e. Engineering, Economics, Law ..). Post-graduate degree related to Risk Management an advantage.
