Job Description

FactSet creates flexible, open data and software solutions for over 200,000 investment professionals worldwide, providing instant access to financial data and analytics that investors use to make crucial decisions.

At FactSet, our values are the foundation of everything we do. They express how we act and operate, serve as a compass in our decision-making, and play a big role in how we treat each other, our clients, and our communities. We believe that the best ideas can come from anyone, anywhere, at any time, and that curiosity is the key to anticipating our clients’ needs and exceeding their expectations.

The ERM Specialist exists to support the effective execution of FactSet's enterprise risk management program by ensuring that risk identification, tracking, and mitigation activities are carried out consistently and with rigor across the organization. This role achieves its end-result — a well-functioning, credible ERM program that drives meaningful risk accountability — by managing the GRC platform and reporting cycles, engaging business stakeholders to support improved risk management, producing high-quality risk reporting for senior leadership and governance bodies, and contributing to operational resilience and crisis management initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute ERM Program Activities: Own and maintain the enterprise risk register, ensuring entries are current, accurately documented, and reflect active mitigation plans with clearly assigned owners. Execute core ERM framework activities across strategic, operational, financial, and legal risk domains. Drive risk owner accountability by engaging stakeholders on mitigation status and escalating gaps to the ERM Director.
  • Manage Risk Analytics and Reporting: Serve as primary administrator of FactSet's GRC platform, owning reporting taxonomy, data integrity, and configuration to ensure consistent risk categorization and reliable trend tracking. Analyze risk data and KPIs to maintain dashboards and risk metrics, surfacing trends or anomalies warranting escalation to risk leadership.
  • Support Executive, Committee, and Board Reporting: Assist with preparation of executive and Board risk materials — including agendas, presentations, minutes, and action item logs — and support risk analyses by gathering data and summarizing outputs for senior review.
  • Improve ERM Operations and Risk Internal Awareness: Maintain/enhance key program documents (e.g., charter, policy) and support risk culture and awareness efforts through uses of internal channels (e.g., SharePoint, Engage)
  • Support Operational Resilience Initiatives: Contribute to FactSet's operational resilience program, including business continuity planning and crisis management. Coordinate and document crisis management exercises, track post-exercise action items to resolution, and support incident response by maintaining the incident log and coordinating with crisis response leads.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, business, economics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, or a closely related function, with demonstrated ability to own and execute program activities
  • Experience maintaining risk registers, conducting risk assessments, and managing stakeholder engagement across risk programs
  • Solid understanding of ERM frameworks and methodologies (e.g., COSO ERM, ISO 31000) and their practical application in a corporate environment
  • Hands-on experience with a GRC platform including reporting and data management
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to translate complex risk information into clear, concise reporting for senior audiences
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing deadlines independently
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and the local language of the jurisdiction.
  • An interest in AI would be beneficial.
