Job Description

Enterprise Quality Manager – Post‑Production leads transformation efforts to improve and sustain the quality of products from the point they leave the manufacturing site through jobsite delivery This role partners closely with Operations, Logistics, Engineering, and Customer Service to ensure that product condition is protected throughout outbound movement. The position is responsible for building and executing enterprise strategies, establishing performance standards, and driving cross‑functional alignment to eliminate quality losses in this segment of the value stream. This role reports directly to the VP of Quality and serves as a key link between plant teams, distribution and transportation functions, and enterprise leadership.

Highlights of your role

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the enterprise strategy for Post‑Production Quality, ensuring products maintain expected quality during loading, transportation, staging, and jobsite delivery.
  • Establish clear success criteria, KPIs, and milestones for outbound quality performance in partnership with Senior Operations and Logistics Leaders.
  • Develop and maintain standards, best practices, and process controls that strengthen outbound product protection and reduce quality escapes.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to design and implement improvements across the outbound value stream.
  • Provide guidance and support to local and regional teams, ensuring the effective deployment and follow-up of product integrity initiatives.
  • Coordinate with field teams and customer-facing groups to understand jobsite realities and translate feedback into actionable improvements.

Quality Performance & Improvement

  • Lead structured investigations for all outbound quality issues; ensure robust root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Review internal and external quality data—delivery condition, transportation defects, customer feedback, and claims—to identify trends and emerging risks.
  • Conduct onsite validations at plants, distribution centers, transportation hubs, dealer warehouses and jobsites to verify effectiveness of quality improvements.
  • Support development and maintenance of enterprise reporting, dashboards, and systems related to post-manufacturing product integrity.

Transformation & Governance

  • Drive implementation of new processes, tools, technology and standards that protect product condition during loading, securing, transport, and delivery.
  • Partners with other Enterprise Quality Managers to create a cohesive, end-to-end quality strategy for the enterprise.
  • Partner with the EPT team to align product integrity improvements with future-state systems.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive updates to Senior Leaders regarding progress, challenges, and resource needs within the product integrity workstream.
  • Serve as liaison between Plant Leadership, Logistics teams, and FCM Quality to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and sustain improvements.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • B.S. in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality Management, or related field is required.
  • 6+ years of experience in quality, operations, logistics, transportation, or continuous improvement.
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional initiatives and transformational projects.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, structured problem-solving, and operational processes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) to plants, distribution sites, transportation partners, and jobsites.

Also want to make sure you have

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar improvement methodologies.
  • Background in packaging engineering, transportation quality, or outbound logistics.
  • Expertise in data analysis, quality reporting, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated success leading major strategic or cross-functional initiatives.
