About the role

As the Enterprise Planning & Business Case Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Lifeblood’s portfolio priorities and investment decisions. Working across the organisation, you'll lead enterprise planning and prioritisation activities, partnering with stakeholders to develop practical roadmaps aligned to strategic objectives.

You’ll bring clarity to complex decisions by guiding the development of high-quality business cases and providing evidence-based recommendations on what to progress, pause, stop or accelerate. As a trusted advisor, you'll influence outcomes through strong stakeholder engagement, build planning capability across the organisation, and continuously improve our planning frameworks to ensure we remain agile in a changing environment.

This is a highly visible role where your expertise will directly influence how we invest, sequence initiatives and realise value across Lifeblood.

  • Significant experience in enterprise business planning, portfolio planning, prioritisation and complex business case development.
  • Proven ability to identify and articulate business needs, investment opportunities and value outcomes.
  • Experience leading and facilitating enterprise prioritisation and decision-making processes across multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to bring people together around shared priorities.
  • Strong analytical thinking, judgement and problem-solving capability, with a strategic and enterprise-wide perspective.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present recommendations to senior leaders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to adapt planning approaches in response to changing organisational needs.
  • Collaborative and inclusive approach, working effectively across functions to deliver the best outcomes.
