Key purpose of the role:

To build change management excellence enterprise-wide through leading the organisation's change approach and directing change management practices and methodologies. The role is accountable for owning, leading and facilitating educational programs with senior leaders, sponsors and the delivery community. Also providing executive and Board‑level insight on change capability maturity.

Your Team

The Enterprise Customer & Operations team (EC&O) enables ASX to run better. This is through improving customer experiences and interactions, delivering simplified processes and services, integrated delivery planning and capability, and driving consistency of standards.

The Enterprise Enablement team within EC&O is responsible for providing enterprise capabilities and frameworks, that enable and govern change, transformation, delivery, strategy execution, customer products, data management, process mapping, adoption of AI and oversight of the Group Services Agreement.

Your responsibilities

  • Uplift the OCM component of the ASX Delivery Framework, aligning it to an industry standard
  • Lead the development and implementation of a change capability strategy that responds to current and future needs
  • Design and deliver pragmatic change capability programs for leaders and managers, enabling them to execute changes effectively and sustainably.
  • Undertake Enterprise-wide change impact assessments to drive prioritisation of the change load and drive effective embedment
    Determine measures for the effectiveness of change capability building
  • Coach senior leaders on change leadership behaviours and sponsor effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align the capability approach to existing organisational frameworks, policies and processes (e.g. People and Culture, Delivery, Risk etc)
  • Develop and facilitate an OCM Community of Practice
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, practices and outcomes within Enterprise Enablement.
  • Engage constructively with stakeholders and communicate clearly and proactively to support alignment and effective outcomes.
  • Contribute to a collaborative Enterprise Enablement culture by role‑modelling ASX values and actively breaking down silos.
  • Work across teams and divisions to share knowledge, resolve issues and improve end‑to‑end enterprise outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members and/or practitioners, supporting capability uplift, performance and effective ways of working.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, influencing stakeholders across divisions to achieve enterprise outcomes.
  • Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and the ability to coach, develop and support others.
  • Operate effectively in ambiguous and changing environments, managing competing priorities and trade‑offs.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and build a deep understanding of the role’s function and the broader ASX context.
  • Lead with a pragmatic, delivery‑focused and risk‑informed style, balancing pace with proportionate governance and risk management.
  • Actively participate in the Enterprise Enablement leadership team, aligning priorities and supporting cohesive ways of working.
  • Support the GM Enterprise Enablement through strategic counsel, issue resolution and delivery of agreed enterprise priorities.
  • Present insights and recommendations at Executive and Board‑level forums, as required.
  • Prepare high‑quality Executive and governance papers, briefings and updates, tailored to audience and governance needs.
  • Undertake other activities reasonably required to support the effective operation of the Enterprise Enablement function.

Your experience and qualifications

Must have

  • Relevant qualification or training in change management, psychology, education (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven track record designing and implementing change capability programs for complex organisations
  • Demonstrated experience with influencing, upskilling and coaching senior leaders in the discipline of change management
  • Exposure to driving an OCM community of practice
  • Proven experience of operating with various OCM methodologies and ability to adapt them (eg for projects vs non-projects, agile vs waterfall etc)
  • Experience of various learning design approaches/methods to design engaging education programs
  • Advanced communication and facilitation skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with Atlassian and Microsoft tools; Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint and PowerPoint

  • Experience leading change in a financial services environment
