This is a remote position.
The client is seeking an experienced enterprise data warehouse architect to support the modernization of its data ecosystem and implementation of a Microsoft Fabric-based data platform. The consultant will define current-state, transition-state, and target-state data architectures, establish data integration and modeling approaches, and provide architectural guidance to support business and technology roadmaps.
At client’s sole discretion the Services may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks and/or deliverables, as and when directed by the client:
a)
Assessing current-state data architectures, data models, integrations, and data flows.
b)
Defining target-state and transition-state data architectures aligned with business and technology strategies in alignment with industry best practices.
c)
Developing architecture roadmaps supporting migration to Microsoft Fabric and modern data platform capabilities.
d)
Designing and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
e)
Designing and documenting end-to-end data flows, integration patterns, and data lifecycle processes.
f) Analyzing existing systems and identifying opportunities for rationalization, modernization, and improved data quality.
g) Collaborating with data and systems architects, enterprise architects, product managers, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between business capabilities and data architecture.
h) Establishing standards, principles, and best practices for data architecture, modeling, and governance.
i) Supporting implementation teams by providing architecture guidance, reviews, and recommendations.
j) Evaluating and recommending approaches for data integration, reporting, analytics, and information management.
k) Contributing to the evolution of client's enterprise data architecture and governance practices.
