Job Description

The Enterprise Data Technology Developer is part of the IT organization and supports the Enterprise ERP Program by developing data solutions that efficiently integrate, extract, analyze, harmonize, and enrich data from multiple enterprise systems.

This role focuses on working with Snowflake as the central data platform, where data from multiple ERPs and business tools is consolidated, standardized, and prepared into analytics‑ready schemas that enable enterprise reporting through Power BI.

The position combines data development and analytical responsibilities, working under established data governance and master data standards, and is well‑suited for a developer early in their data career looking to grow in enterprise analytics.

This is a temporary, fixed-term position for a duration of one (1) year.

What you do

  • Support the development of data solutions that integrate information from multiple ERPs and enterprise applications into Snowflake.
  • Contribute to the creation of standardized and trusted data models that support reporting by:
  • Region
  • Country
  • Line of Business
  • Product Family
  • Other business dimensions as required
  • Work within a controlled data governance model to ensure consistency, quality, and traceability of enterprise data.
  • Enable reliable data consumption for Power BI dashboards and reports used across the organization

Duties and Responsibilities

Data Development & Integration

  • Extract and work with data stored in Snowflake, sourced from ERPs and other enterprise systems.
  • Support data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment processes using SQL and Python.
  • Assist in analyzing source data structures and understanding how different systems relate to one another.

Data Harmonization & Modeling

  • Help harmonize data across diverse source systems into common enterprise definitions.
  • Support the design and implementation of standard schemas and tables in Snowflake for analytics consumption.
  • Apply basic business and transformation logic to support unified reporting structures.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Partner with Business Solution Architects to understand business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance teams to ensure adherence to data standards and rules.
  • Support the technical implementation of new data solutions aligned with program objectives.

Documentation & Data Quality

  • Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation for data solutions.
  • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and resolving data quality issues.
  • Help explain data issues and potential resolution approaches to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Skills Required

  • Must have:
    • 2-3 years’ experience with writing SQL/Python statements for relational database systems
    • 1-2 years’ experience with any of the reporting tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
    • Solid understanding of relational data concepts (tables, joins, keys, schemas).
  • Preferrable (Not must)
    • 1-2 years’ experience with Microsoft Power Apps
    • Exposure to Snowflake and/or Azure Data Lake environments
    • Familiarity with data coming from ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.)

Other Skills and competencies

  • High-level understanding of overall business processes
  • Previous exposure and interest on Finance/Commercial data domains.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot data consistency and quality issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to explain data quality issues and candidate resolution plans
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish
  • Comfortable working in environments with ambiguity and evolving requirements.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for data exploration and continuous learning.

Education

  • Required Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Data, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
