We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Careers Hub as our next Enterprise Coordinator. We want someone who thrives on collaboration and wants to make a real impact. This is your opportunity to be part of a nationally recognised programme that supports young people in building the skills and confidence they need for their future careers.

About the Careers Hub

The Norfolk & Suffolk Careers Hub is part of a national initiative delivered in partnership with the Careers & Enterprise Company (CEC), to support schools and colleges in providing high-quality careers education. The Hub works with schools, colleges and employers to build stronger links between education and the world of work.

About the Role

As an Enterprise Coordinator (EC), you will be the main link between local schools/colleges and employers. You will help them work together to improve careers education for young people across the region.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Building relationships between schools, colleges and employers.
  • Supporting Careers Leaders in schools to improve their careers programmes.
  • Helping employers get involved in careers activities and work experience.
  • Sharing best practice and promoting the Gatsby Benchmarks (a national framework for good careers guidance).
  • Acting as an ambassador for the Hub across Norfolk and Suffolk.
  • You will also help organise events, support training sessions, and promote employer engagement in careers education.

This role will be to cover schools and colleges across East and West Suffolk and the surrounding areas There will also be operational activity across Norfolk and Suffolk; therefore, access to a vehicle and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Ideal candidates will need to demonstrate some knowledge and understanding of careers, education, information advice and guidance (CEIAG) and the ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels, with a wide range of external stakeholders. You will have a proven ability to successfully support and challenge senior leaders in schools, evidence of partnership working and a track record of engaging with businesses.

This is a particularly exciting time to join the sector. With the updated Gatsby Benchmarks coming into effect in September 2025 and the government’s work experience guarantee, careers guidance is entering a new chapter, making your role pivotal in supporting institutions to meet these new expectations. As an EC you’ll join an established team committed to making a real difference across the region, building strong partnerships and driving impactful careers education.
