Job Description

This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels, depending on their level of experience and depth of expertise.

We are hiring for Cloud Engineer roles at multiple levels (Mid-Level, Senior, or Principal) to support our hybrid and multi-cloud environments. These positions focus on designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and on-premise cloud environments. Candidates will contribute to cloud adoption, hybrid integrations, performance optimization, and security in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities scale with experience and role level, encompassing the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, secure cloud infrastructures on Azure and OCI; management of hybrid connectivity solutions (such as Azure ExpressRoute, OCI FastConnect, and VPNs) between cloud and on-premise environments; participation in or leadership of cloud migration projects, including assessment, planning, and optimization; implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Azure ARM templates, or OCI Resource Manager; monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of resources for performance, cost, and reliability; enforcement of security best practices, including identity management (Entra AD, OCI IAM) and compliance; collaboration on CI/CD pipelines and application deployments; and contributions to disaster recovery and high-availability architectures.

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related technical field or equivalent work experience. (Typically, 4 years of additional related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor’s degree.)

Experience 3–5 years in cloud/infrastructure roles for the engineer II/III.

  • Key Focus Hands-on implementation and support of cloud and hybrid solutions under guidance.
  • Responsibilities Execute migrations, manage day-to-day operations, automate routine tasks, troubleshoot issues.
  • Required Skills Solid experience with Azure or OCI services (e.g., Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage); basic IaC and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash); familiarity with on-premise systems (VMware, servers).
  • Certifications Azure Administrator or OCI Foundations preferred.

Senior Cloud Engineer

  • Experience 5–8+ years in cloud engineering.
  • Key Focus Independent design and leadership on complex projects.
  • Responsibilities Lead migrations and integrations, optimize multi-cloud strategies, mentor mid-level engineers, participate in on-call rotations.
  • Required Skills Deep expertise in Azure and OCI; advanced IaC (Terraform); experience with containers (AKS, OKE) and monitoring tools.
  • Certifications Azure Solutions Architect or OCI Architect Associate/Professional preferred.

Principal Cloud Engineer

  • Experience 10+ years, with demonstrated technical leadership.
  • Key Focus Strategic architecture and innovation across the organization.
  • Responsibilities Define multi-cloud roadmap, design enterprise solutions, drive best practices, mentor teams, evaluate emerging technologies, participate in on-call rotations.
  • Required Skills Expert-level knowledge of hybrid/multi-cloud environments; proven track record in large-scale migrations; strong in security/compliance.
  • Certifications Advanced certifications (e.g., Azure Expert, OCI Professional) highly desired.

Preferred Skills (All Levels)

  • Container orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS, OKE).
  • Monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, OCI Monitoring, OpenSource).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
