Job Description

Join WorkCover Queensland as an Enterprise Architect - Transformation and play a key role in shaping the future of our business and technology landscape. Reporting to the Head of Architecture, you will provide strategic architecture leadership across major transformation initiatives, ensuring business and technology change is aligned to enterprise strategy, target-state architecture and organisational objectives.


Working across programs, projects and business domains, you'll influence investment decisions, define future-state capabilities, develop transformation roadmaps and provide architecture guidance that enables sustainable business outcomes and long-term value.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain enterprise architecture roadmaps, reference architectures and target-state designs.
  • Provide architecture leadership across transformation programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Guide solution design decisions to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives.
  • Establish and promote architecture principles, patterns and guardrails.
  • Drive alignment across portfolios, identifying opportunities to simplify systems and reduce duplication.
  • Support architecture governance, assurance and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain architecture artefacts, models, roadmaps and design guidance.
  • Identify and manage architecture risks, dependencies and technical debt.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to shape future-state outcomes.

About You

  • Experience in enterprise, domain or solution architecture within complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of business, application, data, infrastructure, integration and security architecture.
  • Experience developing architecture strategies, roadmaps and target-state architectures.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across business and technology teams.
  • Ability to balance business value, risk, cost, complexity and sustainability in architecture decisions.
  • Experience with architecture governance, standards and design assurance practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to a range of audiences.
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
