About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect / Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and modern enterprise applications within the airline domain

In this role, you will define and own the end-to-end solution architecture for Java backend and Angular frontend applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, business goals, and regulatory requirements.

You will provide technical leadership across development teams, guiding architecture decisions and driving the adoption of modern engineering practices across cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise & Solution Architecture

• 
  Define and own solution architecture for Java and Angular-based enterprise systems
• 
  Design scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable architectures for airline business applications.
• 
  Review and improve existing application architecture to ensure high availability and performance

Technical Leadership

• 
  Lead architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and technology selection
• 
  Provide guidance to backend and frontend development teams
• 
  Mentor developers and technical leads on design patterns and modern engineering practices

System Design & Engineering

• 
  Architect microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and cloud-native applications
• 
  Build and guide development of responsive Angular-based front-end applications
• 
  Establish best practices for coding standards, DevOps, CI/CD, security, and observability

Business & Stakeholder Collaboration

• 
  Work with business teams to translate airline business requirements into technical solutions
• 
  Participate in effort estimation, roadmap planning, and release governance

Governance & Compliance

• 
  Ensure adherence to enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements
• 
  Drive consistency in architecture governance and technical documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution architecture roles.
• 
  Strong expertise in Java-based enterprise applications
• 
  Strong experience with Angular front-end development
• 
  Experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures
• 
  Strong knowledge of cloud-native application design
• 
  Experience with API design, integration patterns, and distributed systems
• 
  Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, security, and observability practices
• 
  Proven ability to lead technical teams and architecture discussions
