Nüvitek is seeking a Enterprise Architect to provide strategic technical leadership across Federal Government client engagements while supporting Nüvitek's Business Development and growth efforts.
In this role, you will help clients assess their current technology environments, define future-state solutions, develop modernization strategies, and translate complex business and technical challenges into practical solutions. You will also serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert in support of capture and proposal activities, partnering with Business Development to develop technical approaches, solution architectures, proposal content, and differentiated solutions for Federal Government opportunities.

What you will do
- Lead enterprise architecture and technology strategy efforts for Federal Government clients.
- Assess current-state technology environments and develop future-state architectures, modernization roadmaps, and transition strategies.
- Analyze complex IT environments, including applications, infrastructure, data, integrations, and technology dependencies.
- Identify opportunities for IT modernization, application rationalization, cloud adoption, technology consolidation, and operational improvement.
- Develop practical recommendations that improve technology performance, scalability, security, interoperability, and cost effectiveness.
- Support architecture governance by establishing and applying standards, processes, and technical best practices.
- Identify technology risks, capability gaps, redundancies, dependencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Translate complex technical concepts and findings into clear recommendations for technical and executive stakeholders.
- Facilitate working sessions with client leadership, program stakeholders, business teams, and technical teams.
- Develop executive briefings, technology roadmaps, architecture diagrams, and technical presentations.
- Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert supporting Nüvitek's Business Development and capture efforts.
- Partner with Business Development and capture teams to understand customer requirements, mission needs, and technical challenges.
- Review Federal Government solicitations, including RFPs, RFIs, SOWs, PWSs, and other acquisition documents.
- Lead and participate in technical solutioning sessions to develop practical, innovative, and differentiated approaches.
- Develop and contribute to technical approaches, solution architectures, staffing strategies, technical narratives, and other proposal content.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical illustrations, capability models, and presentations to support proposals and client discussions.
- Provide technical input on labor categories, staffing requirements, required skills, and solution team structures.
- Review technical proposal content to ensure accuracy, feasibility, consistency, and alignment with customer requirements.
- Help identify technical differentiators and value propositions that strengthen Nüvitek's competitive position.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, oral presentations, demonstrations, and other business development activities as needed.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the opportunity lifecycle, from early identification and capture through proposal development and transition to delivery.
What you will bring

10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, IT modernization, technology strategy, or a related technical discipline.
- Significant experience supporting U.S. Federal Government organizations, programs, or contracts.
- Demonstrated experience assessing complex technology environments and developing future-state architectures and modernization strategies.
- Experience developing technology roadmaps, transition plans, and strategic recommendations.
- Strong experience analyzing IT portfolios, applications, infrastructure, data environments, integrations, and technology dependencies.
- Experience translating business and mission requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Experience supporting Federal Government Business Development, capture, proposal development, or technical solutioning activities
- Ability to develop technical approaches and contribute to written proposal content.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, technology strategy, and architecture governance.
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to executive, business, and technical audiences.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across Business Development, Capture, Delivery, Engineering, and client teams.
- Ability to independently analyze complex technical and business challenges and develop practical, actionable recommendations.
- Experience supporting Federal Government proposal color teams, technical volumes, oral presentations, or technical demonstrations.
- Experience with IT portfolio management, technology investment management, or strategic planning.
- Experience with cloud migration, cloud readiness assessments, or cloud modernization initiatives.
- Experience with application rationalization, legacy system modernization, or technology consolidation.
- Experience with business process improvement or IT service management.
- Experience with enterprise data, integration, or analytics architectures.
- Experience with enterprise architecture or technology modeling tools.
- Experience with platforms such as ServiceNow, Power BI, Power Apps, or similar enterprise technologies.
- Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, IT strategy, or related technical disciplines.
