Reporting to the Vice President, Information Systems in GIS, the Manager, Enterprise Analytics leads the strategy, architecture, and operations of Albany’s enterprise analytics ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies. This role ensures the continuity and optimization of Microsoft-based analytics solutions, with SAP serving as the primary enterprise data source, particularly from the SAP S/4HANA platform.
The role drives modernization through the adoption of Microsoft’s analytics stack, such as Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric, integrating SAP data into a scalable, governed, and high-performing data platform. While SAP remains the core system of record, the focus is on enabling advanced analytics, reporting, and data modeling within the Microsoft ecosystem, supplemented by third-party tools where necessary.
Additionally, this position establishes and governs a decision-making framework for analytics architecture, ensuring alignment with Albany’s strategic objectives, data governance standards, and evolving business requirements.
