Would you like to be part of the Enterprise Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Travel & Hospitality industry team in Canada that is focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing strategic accounts with Canada's top retail brands? Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key partner to Canadian retailers?

The Enterprise Account Executive owns the full lifecycle of strategic relationships with enterprise retail customers, driving cloud adoption and revenue growth across their assigned portfolio. This role serves as the primary business partner to C-suite and VP-level stakeholders, translating customer business challenges into AWS-powered solutions while orchestrating cross-functional teams (Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, Partner teams) to deliver measurable outcomes.

Key job responsibilities
Account Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute account plans for a portfolio of enterprise retail customers, driving net-new workload adoption and consumption growth
- Own revenue targets and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Identify whitespace and expansion opportunities through deep understanding of customer technology landscape and business priorities

Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-suite, VP, and Director-level decision-makers
- Conduct regular executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions

Solution Alignment & Deal Execution
- Partner with Solutions Architects to scope technical solutions addressing retail-specific use cases (e.g., supply chain optimization, personalization, agentic commerce, demand forecasting)
- Drive deal progression from qualification through close, managing commercial negotiations
- Coordinate with partners to deliver joint value propositions

Cross-Functional Orchestration
- Quarterback internal teams to deliver unified customer experiences and escalate blockers effectively and leverage leadership support when needed

Industry Expertise & Thought Leadership
- Maintain deep knowledge of the Canadian/global retail landscape, including M&A activity, digital transformation trends, and competitive dynamics
- Represent AWS at customer-facing events, executive briefings, and industry conferences

About the team
This role is part of a dedicated, high-performing team focused exclusively on Canada's largest retail accounts, fostering a collaborative environment where members share industry expertise and accelerate each other's success.

Basic Qualifications


- 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
- Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects for global customers

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience selling to large scale retail Enterprise business

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives (where applicable). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
