Job Description

The fashion industry is responsible for 5–10% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. As pressure for climate action grows, more companies are turning to carbon management tools. But most platforms are generic, lacking the depth needed for driving real change in fashion.

Carbonfactis the Environmental Intelligence Platform built specifically for the textile and fashion industry. We turn messy, real-world business data into environmental intelligence — enabling any fashion company to measure, model, reduce and report on its impact with confidence.

We’ve raised $17M from top-tier investors including Alven, Headline, and Y Combinator, and we’re already trusted by leading brands like Carhartt, GANNI, On, Burton, Armedangels, Jack Wolfskin, and many more.

Account Executive at Carbonfact

We're looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to help bring Carbonfact to the brands that need it the most. Fashion's biggest players are actively searching for a way to measure and reduce their environmental impact — your job is to find them, earn their trust, and close the deal.

You'll report to Maximilian Hagmann (Team Lead, ex-Aircall) and manage the full sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise deals, from first touch to signed contract. You'll be the face of Carbonfact for prospective customers, showing brands what's possible when they have the right data platform behind them.

You'll be supported by a BDR team that supplies qualified opportunities, but this is also a hunting role. You'll proactively prospect, identify new accounts, and build your own pipeline alongside the leads that come your way. This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership and wants to grow with a high-impact team.

What you will do

Build and manage your pipeline

  • Proactively hunt for new accounts: identify and qualify prospective customers in the fashion and textile industry

  • Develop a steady flow of outbound opportunities through research, outreach, and networking

Own the full sales cycle

  • Manage 5- and 6-figure deals end-to-end, from initial exploration through proposal, negotiation, and close

  • Conduct online and in-person meetings at every stage of the buyer journey

  • Tailor Carbonfact's value proposition to each prospect's specific sustainability challenges and business context

Represent Carbonfact in the market

  • Occasionally travel to industry conferences and trade shows to build brand awareness and generate leads

  • Stay sharp on sustainability regulations, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to position Carbonfact effectively

Nurture long-term relationships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and champions within target accounts

  • Collaborate with Customer Operations, Data and Product teams to ensure a smooth handoff once deals close

Who you are

  • You have 2–4 years of sales experience with a proven track record in Enterprise Sales, closing deals with an average contract value between €30K and €500K per year.

  • You can manage the full sales cycle independently: prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing.

  • You are a doer willing to roll up your sleeves. Building pipeline from scratch doesn't intimidate you, but energizes you.

  • You have excellent written communication skills (RFP, emails, scoping documents, etc.)

  • You have an international mindset and speak English at a near-native level.

  • You're comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where things move quickly and priorities shift.

What we offer

  • A transparent, collaborative and high-agency culture rooted in Carbonfact's principles here

  • We provide the essential modern amenities: MacBook, headset, AI subscription, etc.

  • 100% coverage of premium health insurance with Alan.

  • Fitness and commuter benefits.

  • Annual learning budget to support professional development.

  • Team retreats and social events multiple times a year.

  • Transparent compensation framework with level-based salary and equity; promotions tied to impact and performance; the total package for this role is €80K-€100K OTE.

  • Compelling equity package with employee-friendly exercise rights.

Hiring process

  • Submit your application online (please submit your materials in English)

  • Intro video call with Maximilian (Hiring Manager)

  • A take-home business case to complete

  • Onsite interview loop:

    • Presentation of your business case

    • Principles interview with Marc (Co-founder & CEO)

  • If there is mutual interest to move forward, we’ll extend you an offer to join our team 🎉
