Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Children Services, this position supports a portfolio of 7 early learning childhood centres and 5 out of hours school care centres located across the Northern Territory. The portfolio is split geographically; the Top End encompasses the greater Darwin region including Palmerston and Howard Springs and Central encompasses the greater Katherine to Alice Springs region.

We are seeking a details-oriented and results driven individual to join our team as the Enrolments Officer, Children’s Services. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the enrolment process, communicating with parents and guardians, and ensuring a smooth transition for children into our childcare centres and out of school hours care (OSHC) programs. 5 days a week, with part time hours considered.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a genuine passion for supporting centres & families in their childcare needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide parents and guardians through the enrolment process, explaining policies, procedures, and program offerings.
  • Collect and process enrolment forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required information.
  • Maintain up-to-date and organised enrolment records for each child.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for enquiries regarding enrolment, fees, and program details.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and centres, addressing questions, concerns, and providing regular updates on enrolment status.
  • Collaborate with other childcare centre staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Conduct tour training with centre leadership teams.
  • Follow up on each tour and collate the feedback for quality improvement processes.
  • In conjunction with Marketing develop guides for centres to showcase their childcare facilities, introducing staff, and explaining the curriculum.
  • Develop guides for and facilitate with centre leadership teams ‘how to’ orientation sessions for new parents, providing information on policies, procedures, and the daily routine.
  • Ensure all required documentation, including medical records and emergency contact information, is complete and up-to-date for each enrolled child.
  • Stay informed about and adhere to relevant childcare regulations and licensing requirements.
