
Equitas Academy prepares students for college, careers, and life pursuits, and inspires them to be champions of equity. We currently serve over 2,000 students and operate seven schools, four elementary schools and two middle schools, and a high school in the Pico-Union neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The job of the Seasonal Recruiter is to increase visibility in the Pico-Union and surrounding communities through regular recruitment activities (75% of the time), supporting with registration follow-ups (10 % of the time), and supporting school sites with engagement and retention activities (15 % of the time). This role will report to the enrollment team.
Korean Language Skills Required
This is a temporary, part-time role.
General reception duties including answering parent phone calls or messages
Supporting brand awareness campaigns throughout the Pico-Union community
Collecting and entering data into administrative databases
Executing phone banking and grassroots canvassing efforts on a weekly basis
Following up with prospective families in a professional and prompt manner
Other duties as assigned
Strong commitment to our mission of preparing all of our scholars to attend and graduate from four-year colleges and universities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean
Ability to manage several projects and demands simultaneously
Ability to walk throughout the community for an extended period of time to support weekly canvassing efforts
Customer service orientation; inclusive and collaborative attitude toward colleagues and external stakeholders
Reflective and open to feedback and personal development
Bilingual - English and Korean required
Skilled in the use of software including Google suite for education
Criminal clearance, including fingerprints and TB Test

Equitas Academy Charter School was founded in 2009. We are a network of free public schools for families who believe their children deserve a high-quality education and challenging school experience.
