In order to participate in Berklee Student Employment, a student must fulfill the following requirements:
- Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
- Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program. Summer is the only semester in which a student can maintain employment without being enrolled. In this case, the student must be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.
- Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN).
- Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable.
- A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Students in their first semester can work, even though they do not have an official GPA until the completion of their first semester.
- Federal Work Study student may apply.
- In good disciplinary standing.
- Must be located in the U.S.

The Administrative Assistant will work closely with the team of Enrollment Officers as they process all applications and supporting materials. The primary tasks include digital filing and processing important applicant documents, gathering and distributing incoming documentation, triaging and fulfilling Audition and Interview reschedule requests, and assisting with special office projects throughout the year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Digital Filing/Organizing: downloading, re-naming, and organizing documents submitted by applicants, maintaining a consistent filing system to support the Enrollment Officers.
- Data Entry: accurately logging student data into our systems when assigned.
- Audition Scheduling: Utilizing a Salesforce report of recently submitted applicants, scheduling applicants for A&I events based on their date, location, and time zone preferences.
- Audition Rescheduling: Using Salesforce to process A&I rescheduled requests submitted by applicants, determining when policy should be enforced and the request should be escalated to the Enrollment Officer on a case-by-case basis.
- Other tasks and projects as assigned: may include implementation of new daily tasks to assist the Enrollment Officer team.
Knowledge and Skills Preferred:
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required. Ability to make informed decisions and problem-solve.
- Ability to discern and enforce policies in regards to Audition and Interview reschedule requests from applicants.
- Reliable and committed to maintaining a regular office schedule.
- Able to take direction and willing to ask questions.
- Willingness to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Able to maintain and promote confidentiality.
- Strong computer skills. Familiarity with Colleague, Salesforce, and Parchment Exchange a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Hourly Rate: 16.97
