Under the guidance of the EDCME, the Enrollment Manager is responsible for meeting district enrollment goals by overseeing the student enrollment, registration, and admission process. Including determining student eligibility, collecting, and entering all campus student information into the district student information system (SIS). The Enrollment Manager ensures accurate student records and follows processes to guarantee accuracy of all Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data entry. The Enrollment Manager supports the district’s attendance processes as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Oversee the enrollment, registration, admission and withdrawal of students and processes applicable records for the district, providing efficient and timely support to families.
• Upon enrollment, request new student records from the previous school through TREx and respond to all TREx requests from other schools no later than ten (10) business days after the request has been made, as required by TEA.
• Review all prekindergarten applications to ensure students are eligible for enrollment by using Texas Education Agency’s qualifying reasons.
• Collaborate with the Marketing & Recruitment on student recruitment activities.
• Ensures the accuracy and thorough completion of all student registration packets and determines eligibility for enrollment.
• Communicates with campus administrators and special program coordinators to ensure the identifying and missing or incorrect information in physical and electronic student data files.
• Print At Risk Form for all new students after all enrollment data is entered into the SIS and provided to the principal for completion.
• Supports campus-wide attendance process and works to maintain campus-wide compliance, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Assist with student attendance and truancy responsibilities by providing data and reports as requested, printing, mailing and following up with parents on truancy letters.
• Ensure substitute teachers process attendance correctly in the absence of the teacher of record.
• Correct applicable data anomalies that may identify data errors or incorrect coding with guidance of PEIMS Director.
• Assist with the teacher of record audit at the end of the first and fourth six weeks FSP reporting periods, obtain appropriate teacher signatures and maintain signed rosters for audit purposes, and ensure PEIMS Director gets copies of same.
• Assists principal and counselors with campus and student scheduling.
• Processes and transmits requests for student information, including verification of enrollment and transcripts in a timely manner.
• Maintains student transcripts.
• Ensures that transfer grades and GPAs are calculated correctly and reflected appropriately in the SIS.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Strong sense of urgency and accuracy in carrying out job responsibilities.
• Ability to identify implied tasks when assisting in daily campus operations.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and organize work.
• Ability to identify and correct data anomalies that may identify data errors or incorrect coding.
• Must be able to work in an open area office environment.
• Fluency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required. The ability to use intermediate functions is preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Interviews, hires, and trains the designated enrollment staff and ambassadors in the department.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations following the district’s policy.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work staff.
• Handles discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with district policy with the guidance of the department head.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Three years of experience as a registrar, enrollment or admissions clerk or any other district position associated with the collection and data entry into a student information system are preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish Required
• Valid Texas driver’s license or State ID.
• Reliable means of transportation.
