
Case Western Reserve University’s Office of Strategic Marketing, which serves the mass communication efforts of the Division of Enrollment Management (including the offices of undergraduate admission, financial aid, and orientation and new student transitions) is seeking an undergraduate marketing intern for the Fall 2026 semester. Interns will support the office’s email, direct mail, web and social media efforts to enroll high-achieving prospective students and encourage the ongoing transition of first-year and transfer students to CWRU undergraduate programs.
Responsibilities:
Interns will support strategic marketing efforts in several ways, including but not limited to:
Assisting in the development of digital content for marketing communications
Drafting marketing content, including writing, design and photography
Keeping employees abreast of developments in student life on campus
Providing student perspective on current and upcoming communications efforts
Conducting research on trends, content, competitors
Requirements:
Interns must be full-time, degree-seeking Case Western Reserve undergraduate students. A broad understanding of the undergraduate experience at CWRU, including participation in student activities and clubs, is essential. Interns must be able to represent Case Western Reserve honestly and positively.
Interns must have strong writing, leadership and teamwork skills, as well as a sense of professionalism, graciousness and tact. Interns must be self-motivated, highly dependable, responsible enough to work with minimal supervision, including outside of the office, and willing to continue to enhance their knowledge of Case Western Reserve on their own by remaining active in student life and following current campus events.
Interns are expected to work 10 to 15 hours per week during normal business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday). Interns will be hired on a semester basis. Internships can range multiple semesters, including summers, based on job performance and schedule availability. Hourly wage is $13.44/hour. Office attire is expected during office working hours.
