
The Student Success division at the University of South Florida, is comprised of 60 departments, providing students with academic support, engagement opportunities, health & wellness services and enhancement of the educational experience.
The Office of the Registrar (URO) leads a hub of critical services for students, faculty, and staff, including student an academic record keeping, a conflict free academic schedule, registration, graduation, data reporting and state and federal compliance to support the University's educational programs.
The Enrollment Management Analyst serves as an on-campus resource and is responsible for daily operations and processes concerning Office of the Registrar services at Sarasota-Manatee campus. This position is responsible for institution-wide enrollment certification processing, ensuring that they are performed accurately, efficiently, with outstanding customer service, and in accordance with University regulation and policy. Oversees the processing and handling of student records, ensuring compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA). Provides input on strategic planning, enrollment management, emergency preparedness, State and Federal compliance, core work enhancement, performance management, student record and data management and statistical analysis, presentation, reporting, and outcome assessment.
Supports the URO business functions and services offered at the Sarasota-Manatee campus, and manages the team that releases official transcripts and enrollment certifications for all of the University of South Florida. Processes requests in accordance with university, state, and federal policies and procedures. Serves as the URO on-campus support for faculty, staff and students at Sarasota-Manatee. Shares general information on university policies and procedures through telephone, written, and in-person inquiries. Ensures issues are appropriately escalated for timely, accurate resolution that provides maximum benefit to students when possible.
Ensures the proper setup, maintenance, and monitoring of tools, systems, and processes required for the accurate and timely release of transcripts and enrollment certifications through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). Identifies and resolves system issues impacting service delivery and collaborates with appropriate URO teams to ensure seamless operations. Produces special requests related to enrollment certification on behalf of the university. Ensures notarized transcripts and other special requests are provided in a timely, accurate manner. Responds to routine requests for enrollment information by explaining USF's participation with NSC, reviewing instructions published for internal and external requestors, and making recommendations to maintain accuracy.
Responsible for ensuring the confidentiality of student data. Performs all work involving confidential and sensitive student information in compliance with FERPA and other applicable federal and state guidelines. Informs individuals working with confidential student information about legal restrictions, privileges, and ethical considerations regarding its use.
Supports the mission of Student Success, Enrollment Planning and Management, and the URO with other duties as assigned. Regularly updates URO Leadership on the status of projects, highlighting important issues and areas of concern. Serves on institutional committees at the discretion of the University Registrar. Serves as essential personnel for Continuity of Operations Planning to ensure continuation of essential functions during emergencies or disasters.
