As a valued member of the clinical team, you will contribute to patient health outcomes through preventative care, chronic disease management, vaccinations, treatment room procedures, and patient education.

About the Role

You will play a key role in providing safe, efficient, and patient-focused nursing services within a busy general practice environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Immunisations and vaccinations
• Health assessments and preventative health checks
• Wound management and dressing changes
• ECGs, spirometry, and other diagnostic procedures
• Medication administration
• Chronic disease management and care coordination
• Assisting GPs with procedures and treatment plans
• Patient education and health promotion
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Supporting accreditation and quality improvement activities
• Clinical stock management and infection control

About You

To be successful, you will have:

Essential

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed)
• Diploma of Nursing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent clinical and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Sound computer literacy

Desirable

• Previous General Practice or Primary Care experience
• Experience in chronic disease management
• Vaccination experience
• Knowledge of Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) item numbers
• Minimum 2 years' clinical nursing experience
