Lumia Care (formerly Pop-Up Health) is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Enrolled Nurses who are seeking genuine flexibility, meaningful work, and variety in their shifts.

This hybrid role combines community nursing with school health coverage across Metro Adelaide, offering a mix of shorter school-based shifts and community visits throughout the day.

About the Role

This is a casual hybrid position supporting both our Community Care and School Health programs.

Shifts are flexible and start and finish from home, with work available across metro Adelaide, including a requirement to travel to the Southern Suburbs when needed.

A key component of this role includes providing lunch coverage within schools, with some shifts being shorter 3-hour school-based blocks during lunchtime periods. Additional community shifts may also be available before or after school coverage depending on your availability and preferences.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing clinical care to clients within their homes and school environments
• Medication administration and basic clinical care
• Supporting students with day-to-day health presentations and care plans
• Responding to first aid incidents and health concerns within schools
• Building strong relationships with clients, students, families, and school staff
• Working autonomously in the community while remaining supported by a dedicated clinical and operational team

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses who are:

• Confident working independently
• Adaptable across different environments
• Strong communicators with a compassionate approach
• Organised and able to think on their feet
• Passionate about delivering high-quality care within the community

Previous experience in community nursing or school nursing is highly regarded, though not essential.

Essential Requirements

• Diploma of Nursing
• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• Current Working With Children Check
• NDIS Worker Check
• National Police Clearance
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates
• Valid Manual Handling certificate
• RRHAN-EC Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
• Unrestricted South Australian Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• Up-to-date COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations
