Ward 6D is a 32-bed medical and stroke unit where the team provides quality and safe care and work within the CARE values of the organisation.
Our leadership team consists of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educator, Associate Nurse unit Manager. The ANUM does not have a patient load allowing them to efficiently manage each shift. A clinical support nurse supports the team on early shifts and assists with access and flow.

The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services. Permanent part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing 31 August 2026.

$73,109 to $80,524 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
