About the role

This permanent part-time role (32 hours per week) is for an experienced and skilled Enrolled Nurse who has completed a module on medication administration. Based at Braeside Hospital in Prairiewood you will be a part of a highly dedicated team that provides the best nursing care and advice to patients.

We offer a stimulating workplace and a supportive team environment within the unit. Our staff are valued members of the multi-disciplinary team and are encouraged to participate in all learning and development activities.

HammondCare is a NSW Health-affiliated organisation all NSW Health transferrable entitlements will be recognised.

About you

  • Experience in Palliative Care or interest in working in this specialist area
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Ability to work a rotating roster
  • Experience and qualifications in the specialty or discipline
  • Experience working with people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and other language skills
  • Willingness to travel between HammondCare’s sites and services
  • Sound computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Empathy and patience
