About the opportunity

At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you’ll help create cherished moments and better health outcomes for residents each day.

You will a member of the multidisciplinary team who work closely with residents and their families or representatives. you are expected to lead a team of staff, be role models, complete day to day tasks and report any issues and adverse advents to the Clinical Care Manager. You will assist staff in undertaking assessments, treatment, documentation and activities.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Essential:• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).• Diploma of Nursing or equivalent• Excellent clinical skills and has significant Aged Care experience.• Demonstrated leadership qualities.• Strong working knowledge of legislation and policies pertinent to Aged Care and the workplace.• Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).• Computer Literacy.• Multidiscipline approach to clinical practce .
  • Desirable:• Working knowledge of ACFI, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and ACRIS.• Ability to speak a relevant community language would be an advantage.• Experience working collaboratively with consumer and carer organizations.• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.• Has actively run and managed a portfolio which adds value to the work place and requires ahigher level of understanding and commitment

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance.
  • Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
