Enrolled Nurse

About you

You are a deeply committed to supporting and caring for people through their later years, to ensure the provision of skilled, individualised nursing and personal care services are always present for our residents. You will be a part of a vibrant, dedicated and community orientated team that unites for the common goal of caring for our residents.

We are seeking qualified, enthusiastic and team-oriented Enrolled Nurses to work at our beautiful residential home.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high care standards are provided in accordance policy and procedures and accreditation standards.
  • Work as a member of the nursing team and assist in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.
  • Ensure all documentation accurately reflects resident health and wellbeing and is relevant to care needs.
  • In accordance with standards, policies and procedures, administer medications to residents and assume responsibility for correct ordering, storage and documentation procedures in relation to medications.
  • Maintain current knowledge and ability to coordinate emergency situations.

You will be a great fit if you have

  • Relevant Nursing qualification (EEN Registered Nurse Qualification)
  • Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
  • Medication Competency
  • Computer literate
  • Experience working in an aged care environment
  • Good working knowledge of AN-AAC.
  • Have permanent residency or citizenship in Australia

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
