About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join our team, providing holistic, person-centred nursing care to participants in their own homes. Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will support clients to achieve their individual goals and live life on their terms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and implementing care plans
  • Administer medications and manage PEG feeds
  • Provide complex personal care and manual handling supports
  • Experience supporting participants living with Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP)
  • Confidently assist non-verbal participants with communication and care needs, using an eyegaze device and a Megabee
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities, including shopping, community access, and attending sports games
  • Maintain accurate and timely progress notes
  • Liaise with GPs, RNs, care coordinators, and allied health professionals
  • Provide guidance to support workers as needed
  • Respond to medical incidents and provide first aid when required
  • Work across a rotating roster including AM, PM, and active night shifts

  • Requirements

  • Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse)
  • Current registration with AHPRA (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia)
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts including weekends and public holidays
