Job Description

We are looking for a highly capable and experienced English Trainer / ESL Trainer to join our internal team in Dagupan.

This is an important role for someone who is passionate about developing people and has the experience to deliver engaging, structured, and effective English training to adult learners in a professional environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ESL, English language training, corporate training, or BPO/contact center training, along with excellent communication and facilitation skills.

We're looking for more than someone who simply speaks English well. You should be able to identify learning gaps, explain concepts clearly, adapt your approach to different learners, provide constructive feedback, and help employees build the confidence and communication skills they need to succeed.

What You'll Do

• Deliver engaging English and ESL training to adult learners in a professional environment.
• Develop and facilitate training sessions focused on spoken and written English, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, comprehension, and professional communication.
• Assess learners' English proficiency and identify individual and group development needs.
• Adapt training methods and materials to accommodate different learning levels and styles.
• Facilitate classroom-based and interactive learning activities that encourage participation and practical application.
• Provide clear, constructive, and actionable feedback to learners.
• Coach employees individually or in small groups when additional support is required.
• Track learner progress and identify areas requiring additional coaching or reinforcement.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure learning and development.
• Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to understand communication and performance needs.
• Help develop and improve English training materials, activities, assessments, and learning resources.
• Maintain accurate training and learner records.
• Create a positive, professional, and supportive learning environment.
• Identify recurring language or communication challenges and recommend appropriate training solutions.
• Continuously improve training approaches based on learner performance and feedback.

The Person We're Looking For

We're looking for someone confident, engaging, patient, and genuinely passionate about developing people.

You should be comfortable standing in front of a group, taking control of a classroom, explaining difficult concepts in simple ways, and adapting your approach when learners aren't understanding the material.

You should also be able to recognize that effective adult training isn't about simply presenting information. It's about getting people to understand it, apply it, and improve.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in ESL, English language training, corporate training, BPO training, or a closely related field.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Demonstrated experience training or teaching adult learners.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to explain English concepts clearly to learners at different proficiency levels.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback in a supportive and professional manner.
• Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.
• Ability to assess learner performance and adjust training accordingly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using technology and digital tools to support training.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and operational teams.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site in Dagupan, Pangasinan.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience as an ESL Trainer, English Trainer, Language Trainer, or BPO Trainer.
• Experience training employees in a BPO, contact center, shared services, or other professional environment.
• Experience working with adult learners whose English proficiency varies significantly.
• Experience conducting English proficiency assessments.
• Experience developing training materials, lesson plans, activities, and assessments.
• TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or another relevant English/teaching certification.
• Experience coaching employees on professional communication, customer interactions, or workplace English.
• Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment.
