Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring  English Language Teacher to provide in-person customized lessons to our clients in Columbia, SC.

C196633 Job Information: Individual class for a gentlemen

• Address: Clark Ridge Rd., Columbia, South Carolina, USA
• Face-to-face English for spouse, male
• Location: student's home [Harbour Pointe Dr, Columbia, SC 29229]
  Availability: 1 x week for 1 hour: Monday - Friday between 10am - 2pm (Has to pick daughter up at 3pm)
• Preferred start date: First week of May 2026
• Lesson Frequency: 1x per week
• Lesson Duration: 1 hour per lesson
• Student’s Current location/time zone: Eastern Standard Time
• Current target language level: Intermediate
• Native and other spoken languages: German
• Student’s language needs and goals: Everyday communication
  Building vocabulary; pronunciation and local accents; common phrases native speakers use every day; slang; conversations with native speakers; how to learn a language faster; phone calls.
• Additional Information: Interests: Table Tennis; Soccer; Skiing; Hiking
  Speaking English is harder for me because the words don't come to me as quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
• Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
• Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
• Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
